About Our Care Group
This is not your typical care group! We meet every other friday evening at 5:30pm. We eat a meal together and share the evening together in fellowship. Our primary desire is to build authentic relationships as we "live life" together. We spend a lot of time in sharing life's events and circumstances over a meal and while watching our children play together. We will often take time to pray together and for one another. Biblical wisdom and counsel flows out of conversation and while we do not devote specific time to a "Biblical study," the Bible is our subject matter and tool for application for the Biblical relationships we are developing. Essentially, our being together is a celebration and application of the Gospel's work in each of our lives.

About Our Family
We are not your typical family! We have been married for 11 years and we have six children (and our currently expecting our seventh). Five are boys and we have one little girl. We have been involved with New Covenant Church in various capacities for all of our married life. After our first year of marriage, where Scott was a teacher in the school and Mary was the church secretary, we spent the next 5 years a principal of the school and an elder for the church. Then we were sent on a church planting mission with a group from New Covenant to plant a new church on the Eastern shore. In January of 2008 we were called back to Arnold to serve as the Senior Pastor.

Our Age Target is
We will welcome anyone, but families with young children are attracted to our schedule and events.

Special Activities for Children
We are specifically designed to serve families with younger children. We meet earlier in the evening so bedtime is not too late. We provide a meal so the family doesn't have to find time to eat before coming. The children are given lots of time and room to play and activities are provided which allow parents and children to interact.
